Polling by Navigator Research ... later found that the public was unimpressed with Trump’s birthday bash. The survey found that 56 percent of registered voters opposed Trump’s UFC event while only 28 percent supported it.
The conversation was conducted virtually by Navigator Research, a left-leaning polling group. Participants ranged in age from 20 to 29 and spanned five states: Florida, Mississippi, Ohio, Texas and South Carolina — places Trump won by double digits in the last election. Two of those states, Texas and Ohio, are home to competitive races that could be key to control of the Senate.
In an exclusive new focus group, Black and Latino men who voted for Trump in 2024 reveal all the reasons they regret their choice—inflation, Iran, ICE—but also why they aren’t ready to vote for Democrats, either.
In another recent survey from the Democratic group Navigator Research, obtained by POLITICO, the vast majority of Americans — both Democrats and Republicans — say corruption is driving up their costs. That same survey of registered voters, conducted in August, found majorities, including roughly a quarter of Republicans, say Trump is bringing more corruption to Washington than fixing it.
In a Navigator Research survey (Sept. 10 - 14, 2026), 62 percent of respondents said they were concerned about the use of Flock cameras, while 26 percent were not. However, the specific details of voters’ concerns vary widely. Given a list of possible concerns and the ability to choose more than one, no individual issue had more than 33 percent of respondents saying it was concerning, and no issue had fewer than 23 percent. Topping the list of concerns were the collection of information about people without their consent (33 percent) or who have not committed or been suspected of a crime (33 percent), allowing the government to track where people go every day (32 percent), and the risk of hackers gaining access to the cameras or data (31 percent).
Another 2025 survey from Navigator Research found that majorities of voters reported they probably or definitely could not support candidates who are in favor of banning or restricting access to abortion and contraceptives.
Separate polling by left-of-center strategy group Navigator Research found that 81% of Americans believe government corruption is hitting them in the wallet: 86% of Democrats, 75% of independents and 79% of Republicans said corruption is driving up their costs.
Thanks in large part due to rising costs, Trump’s popularity is negative territory, according to new polling released by Navigator Research earlier this week, and Alaskans’ view of how he’s handled the economy over his first two years back in office is even worse off. In terms of overall favorability, he’s sitting at -5 with 52% holding an unfavorable opinion of Trump to 47% favorable.
