The latest Navigator poll finds: “Before reading some of the policies included in the new infrastructure legislation, net support is at +25 overall and +22 among independents; after reading, net support jumps to +40 overall and among independents.”

Respectfully, I suggest the senator consider recent polling that has revealed that 65%, or more, of Americans approve of each of the following provisions of Biden’s Build Back Better Plan: Universal Pre-K; clean energy infrastructure; paid family/medical leave; long-term care for seniors and the disabled; Medicare coverage of dental, vision and hearing, as well as reduced drug costs that would result from permitting Medicare to negotiate with Big Pharma.
According to the survey of approximately 1,000 registered voters conducted from 4 November to 8 November, 47 per cent of Americans now approve of the way Mr Biden is handling his job as president, with 50 per cent disapproving and three per cent responding that they were not sure. That’s a seven-point jump from a similar poll conducted in late October.
Poll after poll suggests that voters’ biggest worries are the very things that Democrats haven’t shown competence in delivering on.

The Build Back Better bill is popular among voters. A Navigator Research poll conducted in September found that 66% of Americans support the plan when its key components are spelled out, including 93% of Democrats, 61% of independents, and even 39% of Republicans.
In a Navigator survey taken in July, only 43 percent of voters endorsed “moving funding away from the police into other resources, like social services.” Most respondents opposed that idea.
